Let’s play an inspirational game: quickly grab a pen and paper — now make a list of the words (you believe) relate to or describe the HAPPY, FUN, JOYFUL times you have experienced in your life and make you feel glad to be alive. eg. laughter would normally be involved in happy, fun, joyful times — excited — entertained — delighted — stimulated — exhilarated –elated — ________ — ________ — ________ — how many other related words can you think of in the next 60 seconds? Write them down as they come to you!
Now, write down the best word to describe how you are feeling right now — ________________ .
This is a pick-me-up exercise, as it gets you thinking of PLEASANT times you’ve experienced in your life.
The definition of the word ‘PLEASANT’ is giving a sense of HAPPY satisfaction or enjoyment… ‘ we had a very pleasant evening. ‘
